This policy explains how Image Compressor handles local image processing, browser entitlements, accounts, orders, and support information.
Images and browser data
Selected images are decoded, compressed, and converted to WebP entirely in your browser. They are not uploaded to or stored by us. Browser storage holds free-use counts, language, guest claim credentials, and the raw license credential. Our server stores only its hash, remaining uses, and usage timestamps. Clearing browser data permanently removes the browser entitlement.
Purposes and payment data
We use information to create and link orders, confirm payment, deliver activation codes, restore purchase history, provide support, prevent fraud, and meet legal duties. Creem processes payments as Merchant of Record. We do not receive or store full card numbers, CVVs, or complete payment credentials.
Providers and international processing
Creem handles payment, tax, invoices, refunds, and disputes; Supabase provides authentication, database, and Edge Functions; Netlify hosts the website. These providers may process information outside your country. We do not sell personal information or use advertising profiles or marketing trackers. Disclosure is limited to service delivery, legal requirements, and protecting users or systems.
Local storage, retention, and security
Authentication sessions, language preferences, and guest claim credentials may be stored in cookies or browser storage. Information is retained only as needed for delivery, order records, support, fraud prevention, and applicable legal obligations. We use access controls, row-level security, hashed credentials, and encrypted transport, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your rights, minors, and updates
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, or deletion of account-related information through the support email. Transaction records may need to remain for tax, dispute, or compliance reasons. The service is not intended for anyone below the legal age to contract locally. Material updates will appear here with a new effective date. Localized versions are intended to be equivalent; where permitted, Simplified Chinese controls if versions conflict.
